work on the bass a bit more…or maybe just automate gross beat vst effect applied to the bass and some sidechain and your good…youll have bangers.
also bandpass filters are better than lowpass filters for complextro. imo

This is an awesome use of euclidean rhythms. While I can’t pick them out individually due to the slow attacks, this was definitely unexpected all around. I don’t know why, but I was getting almost Resident Evil vibes from this but it’s probably got something to do with a very hazy memory of the BGM in 1.
I’m keeping this one open-ended because I don’t know how many people will actually do it, but I know I’m down for at least making a few (very rough) sketches that at least function 50% of the time
Basically this: make a device that makes sound. Use a programming language, IDE, microcontroller, VST wrapper, game engine (easiest option) or any scripting environment (there’s probably one in your DAW) to build a sequencer or sampler that functions as intended and does something cool.

There have been good challenges that @bfk and @KvlT have really stepped up to keep going throughout this year. I got involved with the music ones and it’s been great to push me out of my comfort zone and get me basically making DnB. Come to think of it, I need to submit an idea to the master thread and get us working on more music…
