I had a bit of time between jobs and got it to work! Turns out Live 12 has a regular folder browser option which I found by accident. Moved my old Live library there and moved some ams files and told it where to look aaaaaaand it works! Even got some old presets and sample packs back. Gonna try to make a tune before “family fun time” begins tomorrow (Thanksgiving…..)
I bought a bunch of music stuff on BF, really taken by a reverb (Tai Chi) and an ambient synth (Cascade) I got and thinking about doing an EP/album of the two together to really dig in and get to know them. Sometimes spending money is a valid way to get inspired XD
played guitar and piano today till my fingers couldn’t do it no more (i’m rusty / out of practice) and it felt amazing. always is. going to continue to try and incorporate sitting down at the keys or picking up the acoustic everyday for at least 5-10 minutes. once i start i go for much longer. showing up to the gym is more difficult than the actual workout.
