Got in the music mood and have spent the last two hours trying to get the Ableton 12 to recognize the old Ableton 7 sub bass and frustrated with Ableton 12’s way of “organizing” stuff. Tried Ableton 8 and that shit doesn’t even scroll on my laptop. Oh well, I’m just gonna try to knock out a tune.
Edit: Just don’t think I’m in the music mood. Everything I’m coming up with just sounds like “baby’s first music” which, to be honest, is pretty much my style, although these days I like singing more than making the music, which is the total opposite of when I started lol!
I don’t like staring into a computer doing file management for long, so I’m done for now. Gonna play Fez lol. Not sure if that initial new push was just something I needed to get out of my system, but I have zero musical making bones in my body at the moment.
