it’s not so much about trust as it is about being an extra point of storage that autosaves some (keyword, some) of my valuable data and is apart from my physical existence (which at any moment could burn down in fire or be washed away by a tsunami)

I still use Rapture & Dimension Pro from time to time. They had something unique in their sound. I wish whatever corporation owns Cakewalk these days would finally issue updated versions of those synths with basic things such as GUI resizing…

Bro, I just used both those recently lol. Rapture is the shit, same with D-Pro. I bought gravity from heavyocity and dpro still holds up to it for a fraction of the cost

Lmao. I just put out a video that is over 3 hours of me building a track in Sonar and all my vsts/vsti’s, a lot of daw issues, and crashes, raging, tears, etc.

Mine was kind of ridiculous; I was making a DIY Arduino controller like a nerd and I guess they just detected automated keystrokes. There was no way to appeal it or anything, just an outright permaban for ‘cheating’ (it actually made me lose faster than normal, so I think they got the wrong idea!)

After almost 6 months of not really being able to hear what I’m monitoring since Sienna crapped out on me, I realized that I could ignore the system wide driver issue I’m having if I run it as the plugin on my master channel in my DAW. Only downside is I can’t hear outside my DAW with it, but I can use it to mix and master again. I forgot how huge a difference it makes! Mix I’ve been struggling with for like 3 weeks I just knocked out in 20 minutes.
