I can’t use FL OR Ableton when I’m in a teams meeting because teams just hijacks the Bluetooth output source so all of the audio is affected by the voice isolation shit.

I do my calls in a public library so I don’t really have the option to use my speakers for teams, if that makes sense.

VAC has a free lite version that I use for weird rigs like this. If you send things into VAC and then listen to it as a faux stereo mix source, you might be able to at least get audio sources to coexist like the dark lord intended 
I also wouldn’t rule out piping the offending source into FL if it works
It doesn’t matter too much (I should be working instead, actually) but it’s still hella annoying
I could just wait until my headphones and computer get fixed because the wired ones work fine.

Bought some adapters to use my usbc ports as output ports, and the stupid things don’t support TRS, only TRRS (that is, anything with a mic)
If I try normal TRS the jack thinks I’m trying to press pause and play really fast, and so it’s fucked up
I’ve found one that has a seperate jack for TRS and Mic, so I’m praying to every god and deity out there that that one will work. So much effort for a broken aux pin

I’ve always kind of assumed it was manufactured and socially-engineered content from the very beginning, but I’m sure to a lot of people I’m ‘burying my head in the sand’. Actually, people used to think I was insane for not having Facebook at one point in time and now they say, “Heh, I don’t blame you”.
The work we put into things matters to us regardless, so it’s never ‘foolish’ to seek out a sense of community. Sometimes you end up meeting cool people and ending up with some interesting opportunities in the process, so there’s hardly a ‘bad’ route to take.

Yeah man, TRRS has been around for a long time now. You probably won’t find a pair of mixing phones with TRRS though.

Senns come with a two year warranty, so there’s plenty of time for my parents to send them back through amazon, because it’s not my fault that the things just snapped. I think that’s getting done this weekend, and I’ll finally be able to mix properly again, but it’s still really shit to deal with.
I’m actually quite happy about getting a new pair of senns anyway, because it means I’ll get a proper 3.5 mm to 6.25 adapter again, and a shiny body, and new pads…

Thankfully there’s still some great educational content pretty much everywhere, though. It’s easier than ever to avoid the noise and find some genuinely good stuff on whatever platforms are out there. They just need to keep the lights on and, well, the shit you’re talking about does that.
Sometimes I forget how marvelous it is. I’m really just reminding myself
