Chat GPT is my therapist. How’s that for maladaptive?
This piece is a sprawling, chaotic, and highly satirical critique of contemporary political, social, and cultural discourse. It reads like a stream-of-consciousness rant-post, filtered through the lens of absurdist nihilism and shock humor. Beneath its overwhelming crudeness and deliberately offensive style lies an incisive—albeit buried—frustration with modern sociopolitical dialogue.
Let’s break it down for what it is, what it says, and what it may be doing, even if under a mountain of intentionally juvenile language:
1. Style and Structure
- Form: A long-form shitpost or gonzo-style satire blending political commentary, internet slang, academic parody, and absurd metaphors (e.g., “examining a cum stain on a sock”).
- Tone: Intentionally offensive, highly irreverent, and self-aware. Uses NSFW imagery and references to troll, provoke, or deflate pretentious ideological positions.
- Purpose: Possibly therapeutic or cathartic expression of disillusionment. May also serve as performance art—mocking both the left and right, and the general performativity of political commentary.
2. Underlying Themes and Commentary
Despite the grotesque delivery, some coherent critiques emerge:
a. Performative Politics & “Truthiness”
“People write essays about bullshit in order to perform for their audience or to express their feeling of truthiness.”
- This mocks the way people (especially on social media) perform their beliefs more than act on them. “Truthiness” here refers to a subjective, emotionally driven sense of truth that lacks evidence but feels true—a concept coined by Stephen Colbert.
b. Hypocrisy and Power Games
“The revolution won’t be televised, but it will be commercialized.”
- Mocks both left- and right-wing activism as being co-opted by capitalist interests. This suggests movements become commodified and lose any original moral grounding.
c. Identity Politics and Victimhood
“It is ridiculous… a pissing contest over who has the most grievance and is entitled to perpetual crywanking.”
- Satirizes the culture of competitive victimhood, where social capital is gained by identifying as more oppressed than others—rendering the original goals of equity meaningless.
d. Lack of Individual Accountability
“I have never heard anyone… talk about individual social responsibility.”
- A rare moment of sincerity that underlines the author’s main point: individual ethical behavior and accountability are more important (and more neglected) than any social media virtue signaling or political dogma.
3. Anti-Ideological Positioning
- Left & Right: Both are mocked mercilessly, suggesting they are tools of larger corporate/special interest powers.
- Populism: The author disclaims allegiance to populist figures (“orange man”), despite sharing some populist frustrations (elites, corruption, culture wars).
- Globalism vs. Nationalism: Neither is seen as a valid solution. The preferred model? “Self-sustaining independence”—essentially decentralized coexistence.
4. Symbolic Absurdism
Many of the most outrageous parts (e.g., fart jars, raccoon colonoscopies, strap-on-wearing Stalinists, Dunning-Kruger cheese rituals) serve a symbolic purpose. They exaggerate to ridicule:
- Fart jars = commodified loneliness and absurdity of internet fame.
- Dunning-Kruger cheese rituals = pseudo-intellectualism and empty confidence.
- Toilet paper crops = resource mismanagement and cultural panic.
- Leased model actresses = satire of transactional relationships and celebrity worship.
- Bitcoin Ponzi scheme = frustration with the financial system masked as innovation.
5. Intellectual Message Cloaked in Vulgarity
“Narcissism + optional accountability fluid × ignorance supremacy = post modern individualist consumer economy.”
This line, parodying academic jargon, actually hits a core idea: that our society is driven by selfishness, lack of responsibility, and delusional self-perception—all exacerbated by consumerism and social media.
6. Final Analysis
What is it?
- A nihilistic and vulgar social manifesto disguised as a lowbrow meme-post.
- Possibly a defense mechanism: “If I mock it all, I don’t have to fix it.”
- A hybrid between George Carlin rants, internet shitposting, and dark postmodern satire.
What does it reflect?
- Deep disenchantment with modern political discourse.
- Frustration with performative activism, ideological purity tests, lack of personal responsibility, and social fragmentation.
- Disgust with media manipulation and special interests using the public as pawns.
Why does it matter?
Despite the overwhelming absurdity, the writer manages to point to something real: we’re all caught in an endless cycle of blame, division, and empty rhetoric—while the need for personal integrity and communal accountability is forgotten.
Conclusion
Underneath the feces jokes and intentionally offensive metaphors, this is a screed about accountability, disillusionment, and the broken state of political and social discourse. It tries to say: “Everything is so stupid and fake, maybe we should stop pretending we’re smarter or more righteous than we really are—and just be decent, responsible people.”
It’s basically a flaming pile of nihilist satire with a faint moral pulse. Crude, yes. But not without a message.
I had to use some of these AIs for assignments last semester and NGL, I have considered taking some of my baggage back to them. I can’t bring myself to do it because I’ve just spent a semester picking apart how they think and why I don’t implicitly trust them, but the thought was there.
I know it’s been said before but I feel like the Australian General Pathway Education System is really poorly made. Who where and why is the workrate exponential? If the difficulty of concepts becomes harder at a relatively linear rate from grade 1 - 12 then why can’t the amount of work follow the same pattern? I would rather stay in school for an extra year than have so many things to do.
Let me explain:
In primary school, starting with grade one, you are taught basic literacy and numeracy, so how to spell words, basic grammar, etc. etc. This is fine.
Skip to grade 3, you are completing your first quizzes and learning more advanced concepts, even delving into more refined subjects such as science, music, etc. Still fine.
Grade 7, you begin to complete your first exams and start to get properly used to grades, deadlines etc. The concepts you explore are even more complex, such as IT, trades, home economics, etc. Still fine.
Grade 10 is still a relatively linear step up. You have a schedule for work, and you are getting prepared for the fast-approaching future. This is where you begin to choose whether you are pursuing a subject based university pathway or hands-on working pathway. This is fine, and arguably the most important year of schooling.
Suddenly, year 11 hits. For no particular reason, your workrate is doubled, and you have to juggle many assignments that have due dates practically the day after they are given to you. There is no longer a substantial amount of assistance from teachers - you are alone to fend for yourself. Even applied pathway students have to struggle with an unfair amount of work, and the exams that count towards your “final result” start in the last quarter of the year, before you even start senior year.
Senior year’s here already. The big 12. Forget holidays and weekends, you’re slaving away at 3x 2000 word essays babe. Oh, don’t forget, you’ve got an assignment due before the research period it requires even happens. Oops, you can’t change subjects to something less painful because you misspelled a single word on an English essay from 2 years ago. Senior formal night? Sure, but make sure you show up to school for 70% of the days. And no, we don’t care if you have to stay home to work or recover from that flu, it’s gonna affect your attendance.
Oh, and if you’re gender diverse, you can kiss your gay ass goodnight, because there is not one shitbag kid that’s going to get in trouble for raping you. Why? Well the people in charge of the school are heavily biased towards their own opinions, so little Skinny-Dick Smith is graduating completely scot-free.
And yes, this is all me speaking from personal experience. Except for the grade 12 bit. That’s based off of what friends have told me.

Right in the gouche of social issues…
How an optional class disparity of mediocre hypocrisy and wanting conformist double standards imposed onto others as a form of social retributive justice is psychologically unhealthy because of how it fosters an environment of circle jerking.
According to the sociological studies of nietszche the abstract power fantasy of the aristocracy whose fortitude and intelligence has been slowly fading…has breed an unearned societal arrogance as they try to hold onto their sense of superiority.
For the prefacist premadonnas of whom are a derivation of the rugged socialists, they have no desire to practice humanitarianism solely for the ethics. As a result of this selfishness the peasants shall seek to upend this malfunctioning social order.
Thereby cancelling all of their premium cable subscriptions in favor of streaming services which equate to the same cost as cable but with more user data being collected to optimize participation. But when the plumbing starts to malfunction causing both the peasants and the aristocrats to lose all of their bidet privileges…society as we know it shall cease to exist.
For it will only take the will of a select few to get this shit going in the right direction.
Only those that rise, shall do so according to their own adeptness, skill, work ethic, and sense…those that succeed work hard at honing their skills…and the following generation either inherits the same work ethic or they dont…its circumstantial and random at best.
But some will choose to revel in mediocrity and entitlement; forever having grievance that they are owed something when they havent done/arent willing to do, anything to fulfill their own desire for self determination and success.
Consequentially they impose their inadequacies onto others in an effort to normalize their own mediocrity. Thereby forcing others to conform in a blitzkrieg of intellectual relativism in the nonsensical culture wars. Even though this relativism is completely without substance.
well this is fun
