Funny how things are…I didn’t like Dishonored 1 all that much (basically I thought it was a sub-par Bioshock of sorts when I played it) and it’s why it’s taken me so long to play the 2nd one.
Sounds good, but I take it it’s a PC thing? I’m playing the PS4 game on the PS5.
I’m one month away from no more ultimate game pass, so I’ve been playing a neat little indie game about a chinese cat called Nine Sols. It’s a bit slow but the storyline and tidy graphics are amazing.
I’m having an Armored Core 6 moment. I was always terrible at the Souls and Bloodborne games, but this one seems to be working for me. Very satisfying game if you manage to get into a flow with it, and I will always love giant shooty shooty robot stuff
I’m not much of a gamer at all (more like a software-console user?) but I don’t think I’ve ever spent $50 USD on a game, even when I was younger. It’s so weird to see how many people do shit like this (just based on casual reddit-scrolling) and then pirate all of their music-making software
I’m honestly not much of a gamer these days anyway, and the games I do play are the ones I own, so… I AM saving up for an FL studio licence and a few other things though, so hopefully some things in the future won’t be so… yahrrr harrr harrrr
The only time I ever did that was when Grand Theft Auto V came out. Bought it on day 1.
I then proceeded to really play it about 2 years later
So yeah, that was the first and last time. Any PlayStation game can be bought for half its release date price or even lower a couple years later. Plus, if it’s a really good game, you can grab the GOTY version and get some nice add-ons.
About two hours into Undertale (bought it on steam like……8 years ago). It’s not bad.
Also been playing Ex Zodiac which is still in early access, but worth the price on sale if you like Star Fox. I’m on the last stage, but it’s time for bed.
This shit is going to be eating my brain for the next few months, probably. It’s like trying to solve basic puzzles with Orca or something, except a little more insane and with far fewer symbols. I need more weirdness like this in my life . Best $3 I’ve ever spent.
Guys I got Citra on my new Windows laptop which is a 3 year old laptop from one of my relatives now I play Tomodachi Life and Style Savvy Styling Star the most which is why I’m inactive here
Citra is pretty sick, I’d invest in an actual DS though. Just get an SD card and jailbreak it, you can do all sorts of crazy shit with it (I think I have DDLC on mine lol)
With the screen being so small, it’s probably worth playing on the PC, honestly. Me and my wife have those weird flat blue models and sometimes wonder how in the hell we used to play anything on them.
It’s probably even better to load it up on a tablet or something, too
To me “DS” just means anything with DS in the name, regardless of year.
I still have my red and white 2ds. The camera ribbon cable inside in completely missing, but it honestly kicks ass regardless of screen size… There’s something about the experience of playing it firsthand that just hits different.
I got a 3DS LL a few years ago for basically Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and I still play Mariokart DS on it a few times a year. I think I have it jailbroken, but I only did that so I could transfer saves from my other older 3DS… which is still in a drawer somewhere now that I think about it. I know I have it because my brother uses it to trade pokemons between his games.
