What are you listening to?

I think rather than time or money, what he has is curiosity and an idea that something might sound cool and be useful and the will to go find out.

I feel like that could be you, or me, or anyone. Most people here aren’t on a deadline and the stakes couldn’t be lower. Grab a mic and find interesting sounds.

Whole album is top notch.

This is such a great and heavy piece! I really enjoy John McCowen’s work and Gleb Kanesevich has some really fun clarinet metal track covers on YouTube.

I routinely forget how much I love this album

Something very different and chill today.

You may know of TechDiff’s crazy good breakcore album “The Black Dog, Released”.

He’s put his whole Bandcamp output (14 releases) for less than $2 (!!!). It’s such a steal. I paid more because I felt bad about giving so little.

The “Service Pack” albums go from lo-fi, chill, to IDM, acid-y stuff. Very relaxing and recommended!

Whoa. Hilariously this is what I play on repeat (the whole Service Pack series) to make my whole family of dogs shut up while I’m trying to do other things. They might be the top 1-6 listeners on Spotify right now.

I should be sick of it by now, but it’s actually pretty fine to have on in the background of your home life most of the time. 10/10 jams

Call me cringe and boring but this just hits different to me

hahahahahahahahahahaha excellent

Uhhhh, holy fuck. Take that, Igorrr.

Also this is genuinely one of the first times in a while that the Release Radar didn’t just shovel a bunch of garage demos down my throat. This one might be a new favorite already

Popped up in a randomized playlist today. I’d forgotten how crazy this album is.

Listening to some of the dnb that I used to listen to years ago again… It’s depressing, but it fuels me. Really don’t know if I want to make Hardcore, ambient dnb, or bass music…

Looking at CDs I hadn’t listened to in a while this morning, I happened on this superb album from Famine - Nature’s Twin Tendencies, a strange hybrid of IDM, Glitch, Breakcore, D&B. This album is from 2010. Highly recommended!
