Trying out dungeon synth for the first time, at least with this it’s not too epic for me to dismiss it. Kinda feels like it would be better suited for listening in a dark room with your eyes closed, but while working it does just fine.
I love a bit of dad rock. These guys are brilliant - always excellent melodies and just damn fun (and the right amount of cheese). The singer and band members are from some pretty heavy bands so this is their fun sideproject. For fans of TOTO, Journey, Foreigner, Boston etc

I stumbled down the rabbit hole of noise today. Power noise or rhythmic noise specifically (not harsh noise), I discovered this song, thought I’d share. It’s like industrial breakbeats.

I think it was around the early 2000’s that Tarmvred remixed some Skinny Puppy songs. I remember his mixes were pretty good - some of the very rare SP remixes that actually do not suck. They were never commercially released though (I grabbed them on slsk). They must be on some old hard drive somewhere now.

The whole Subfusc album is great, always happy when it shows up in my playlists. Honestly never chased down any of his other albums besides a few individual tracks, and as I understand it they sort of disappeared in the mid-00s. Shame if true, it was a really cool project.
