But I gotta say some women are fucking retards considering that some will actively try to provoke or pick fights with a man that they don’t like or respect…
And it’s worse being in a relationship with that type…because if she’s looking for trouble actively provoking people and picking fights with others and is expecting you the man to defend her honor…I gotta say that type of person is on their own. Because they should know better than to instigate fights or provoke people.
Even worse than the above is if she’s entertaining other guys by flirting with them and then gets upset when things don’t go her way…and then expects you the man to step in….again she’s on her own…because she either is trying to make you jealous and get in trouble or doesn’t respect you enough to not entertain other guys. These types of behaviors are deal breakers.
That being said men can be just as bad if not worse.

I thought nerds ruled the world but my only hobbies that aren’t getting actively fucked at this point are my jock hobbies of exercise and jiu jitsu. lol this kinda shit still happens in adulthood? today has a been a dynamic “things that piss you off” day. i’m not really that pissed off today because i don’t feel like being pissed off. so basically when I activate my phone screen and unlock it, tap whichever social media app I buried around a bunch of other actually useful apps (that i rarely use), and it be like “WAR GAS TRXMP DEATH BOMBS BULLETS F4SCiSM & WHATEVERS WORSE THAN AIDS” – the ocular sensation parallels one’s reaction to a rotten stench to the nostrils, and reflexively, I swipe the app away like a fuckin mosquito. the maximilized noise of the internet and social media engagement bubble has me feeling the same way as i did in 2008 when someone would send me music in the form of an over-compressed brickwall dubstep track, it’s pretty much just a “nope” from me dawg.
now and then i grieve for the state of the world, very deep in my feels, but fondling a blindingly loud & vibrating “pocket slab” (iphone) to transmit my emotions doesn’t help. except when it’s here, on this forum. in this thread. when i talk about something shitty that pisses me off and write it all out here, it’s almost like therapy, in a very real way but also very pissing-in-the-wind kind of way. which is really nice. today, Resident Advisor lovingly called us “Internet 1.0” and I’ll wear that label pridefully. long live IDMf

The “arborist” (clumsy bloke with a chainsaw,) who trimmed my garden trees today has trampled on and flattened a fair chunk of my flower borders. Alas, his public liability insurance does not cover vegetative collateral damage. On the plus side, several branches have fallen over the fence into my irritating neighbours tat filled garden. It must have caused about £2 worth of damage. Those solar lights and gnomes don’t come cheap.
At a certain point expressing yourself in regards to politics or relationship drama as in advocating for yourself on social media by selling yourself like a brand or doing a marketing public relations campaign like a celebrity…is some real loser shit.
It’s a broken behavior that a lot of people have to unlearn.
Building a peaceful life for yourself. And being able to handle any adversity that comes. That is the goal.

I honestly can’t relate to the hate on Lebron minus his rampant mid-career team trading (but that’s not hate, just judging someone for having too much personal ambition and not being a player who wants to develop a team), but he was just chasing after his ambition to land on the best possible team that he didn’t have to carry with his skill on a constant basis. It sucks to be the best. TBH it cracks me up knowing there will be basketball fans that read me saying he’s “the best” but sorry, he is. he is statistically the best basketball player of all time, the numbers don’t lie. he also doesn’t seem like that bad of a dude compared to Michael Jordan’s apparent psychopathy, and all the other things. Look, I’m a Sacramento Kings fan but also a low key Golden State Warriors fan. On paper I’m supposed to just naturally hate him. Just like anyone who isn’t a patriots fan is supposed to hate Tom Brady. Look again… in the end, none of this matters. We can all talk shit for fun and have competitive banter, but stats are stats. Every team Lebron was traded too, they either were champions or almost got there, and it frankly was mostly because of Lebron. hater’s gonna hate. It’s so much easier to live your life admitting the reality than trying to dissect said stats.

I caught myself expressing sentiments that were extremely negative in hindsight I asked myself what possessed me to feel this way towards people in regards to my overreacting to a sort of slight. I don’t like that I reacted this way…because I should of been whatever and just fixed the situation.

Personal growth is one of those things that always feels like an uphill battle, mostly because it never truly ‘ends’ or concludes, and it always feels like there’s more work that needs to be done. But it’s better to be capable of reflecting in that way instead of being blind to the process and / or neglecting it, or at least that’s what I try to tell myself when it feels difficult .
yeah, sometimes i get in a MOOD where I just want to dissect and talk shit and point out flaws in people, my friends, the world, me, and it turns into this loop where at some point I start listening to the words comin out my mouth and i sound like a fuckin Eeyore negative nancy debbie downer, old fuckin complainer. there’s just so much bullshit sometimes it’s overwhelming and i spend a lot of my life holding it in that every now and then i just need to get on my soapbox and roast the world. i think u can relate
My friend came over to check out Ableton, because I think the 99 dollar version would suit her needs as a good standard go-to to record stuff.
I flubbed around because I suck at Ableton 12 and showed her some basic stuff aaaaaand it turns out I accidentally deleted all my vocals for Sound Particle from the recent IDMf comp lol.
I was like, “let this be a learning experience for you lol! Don’t accidentally delete all the vocals you recorded when moving files.”
Otherwise it was a nice time.
