Moved my night shift to tomorrow morning and am taking the time to rescan my last collage and try to hammer out another one I’m working on.

Fixed this. It was driving me nuts. Luckily it wasn’t completely glued.

Fixed up Phase Shift and got a properly scanned it this time! More color levels and visual information on all fronts, plus there’s a bit more on the edges of the frame.

Made me think of this album:

Found my old shots from around 2020 - there’s a lot of crazy / rough stuff here if anyone wants some album art fodder / some artwork made from them. I doubt I’m going to use any myself, and I had a blast taking these, so please request something and put them to good use!

It’s been a while, damn

Made a little demo reel more recently for my visual stuff.

If any of yall are interested in visuals for your music lmk

Made with After Effects, Resolume, Max MSP, and digital and analog video processors, some of which are circuit bent.

Most notable piece of gear is my DrugsTM circuit bent PS2.

I’m starting to experiment a bit with making laser cut acrylic sculptures, and then adding camera feedback and a laser pointer to the mix.

Here’s a view from the side

Here’s a hand that I just cut yesterday. It isn’t aligned properly yet or fully assembled. Gonna try to do that tonight

Its actually huuge, like twice the size of my hand lol..

I’m doing these cause I have free access to a laser cutter and acrylic for like a week, so trying to take advantage of it as much as possible

I’ve been working on this pixel grid based visual sandbox thing for a while. You can try it out at STAMP // grid visualizer

Very impressive! Played around with this for a little bit, the detail in the pixel animation is really nice and dynamic, the way things interract with each other

Thank you! I spent a lot of time figuring out how the different systems should interact. There are some odd artifacts still in there that I chose to keep. For example when an Entity is affected by Collapse it starts bleeding a stream of cells. That’s because Entity keeps respawning itself on every frame for a while until its life cycle ends
