At first I thought, yeah okay this track is pretty basic. And the bassline came in, and I was like this stinks.
Yeah, I went through a whole weird arc with dnb. I got into the super snare heavy dark stuff and things like current value, then it was all the hypersonic noisia inspired neuro stuff, and now I’ve somehow circled back to relatively simple rollers with good bass sound design. Jungle has always been a constant for me though

Alright, I got a pretty tough nut to crack here, y’all
A couple years back - might be like a decade or so - I came across this super amazing downtempo jungle track on Soundcloud. Thought I had it in my favs on SC, but apparently this is not the case (maybe the profile got deleted, who knows).
Don’t remember the title, don’t remember the artist, don’t remember much about it, just the fact it was something along the lines of Drumloop808’s “Discontent,” just slower, but in a similar vein.

Anybody got any ideas? Even if you got something that’s not the track I’m looking for, I’m all ears, might as well check out more sick tunes in that vein.

I did some digging and found an old album by Entox, Dark Comes the Night. For some reason this one rings a couple bells. Maybe this was this one? Unfortunately it is no longer available anywhere, so I’m not sure if this is what I’m looking for. Maybe you guys have a copy or something?
