this is pimp.
Goddanm… thats hot… ugh…
this is NOT my current studio. this is like circa 2007ish i think. most of that equipment is gone now but this was the peak of input channels before we migrated to using a lot of patchbays. The synth rack in the back corner is featured on the wikipedia midi page.
Epic. Do you play trumpet?
i did not but one of the guys i was working with at the time did. i grew up taking piano lessons.

Just picked up this Nektar SE61 because I missed being able to jam in the daw. Honestly it feels like a whole new experience after all these years
This actually looks cozy to me

- I hadn’t figured out how to manage my studio space yet and everything was just kind of out in the open. 0/10
love the van gogh print!
it’s one of my favorites! still have it!
hahaha man, I think we can all relate. I could live in that space.
We made it to Boulder, CO. Got all our stuff from the moving company. Mostly everything intact. Got the rig humming along. Excited to get back to work.
Cross country moves are hard gosh darnit. Cheers yall!
Thankfully all of your gear made it one piece. I, on the other hand, somehow wound up with a damaged mixer after our cross country move. I still haven’t dropped it off at a repair shop either. It’s just sitting against a wall waiting.
ooooffffff yeah my mixer wasnt to happy with the move. One channel started giving me issues - sound is cutting out via 1/4" and XLR - and I have a feeling its because the HI-Z switch. Ill engage and disengage it a few times and it will come back to life. Once I get employed again Ill send it to a shop. I love that danm mixer.
Mine mutes at random, channels work intermittently, faders for the main outs work sporadically, and other gremlins.
I’ll probably just buy another one if it costs too much to repair, though they’re still kinda pricey used (it’s a Behringer Xenyx 2222FX, non-USB mixer).
This rack makes me swoon. Got the Quadraverb, Quadraverb GT and Filter Factory all paying attention to midi from my PC.
