Called my “old flame” in Japan last night and had a video chat. Met her girlfriend. She seems pretty cool, but a bit distant, but then again Japan is weird…
I showed off my PSVR, and of course the first thing asked was “Do you have porn on that???”
I was given some unseen photos from a photo shoot from way back in the day. Holy crap, they are a thing of beauty.
I told her girlfriend to draw a beard on her and make out.
It’s a beautiful Sunday morning, and all is well.

Can’t complain about anything really despite the world. Watching @Auto-meh-geddon and his wife’s awesome cabaret show they have been hosting on FB live. Very fabulous with performers from all over the world. I’ve had a little wake n bake and am drinking my V8 with just a touch of vodka in it bc why the fuck not. Sunday and Monday are now the same.
edit: I also stayed up all night listening to country music, then rainy mood while smoking and drinking and wrote a bunch of bad corona poetry.

did some therapeutic creative writing…which has prevented me from posting more really annoying ambiguous fuck you garbage shitposts on idmf…of which are not directed at any member of this forum… I was going through some things…I was getting a lot of pyscho bullshit thrown at me from people irl…so…I sincerely apologize for subjecting you lot to my brain diarrhea…still doesn’t excuse me from being an intolerable asshole…but it is what it is…

Ran into a highschool friend pickin’ up beer after work. Haven’t seen her since 2000. Normally I try to avoid highschool peeps, but I’m hitting her up in a few. Seems like a cool person. She hasn’t changed, and wants to move out of here, and I always joke that I get along best with people who want to leave. 
Might be nice having a friend who is EXACTLY my age. My friends are either ten to fifteen years younger than me, or ten to fifteen years older…
Also, for clarification:
My entire extended family lives in Chicago, my parents are from there, and my sister lived there for years. I am VERY familiar with it, and yes, I hate it.

Her dad is the leader of the NAACP around here and used to tussle with my dad all the time (he was the director of of Housing Authority). I used to make raps with her brother in high school on a Playschool microphone cassette recorder (lost to time unfortunately). His moniker was MAX-E-PAD and mine was Used-Con-DUM.
I still remember him freaking out and screaming, “OH MY GOD, DUDE. YOU ARE BANGING THE HOTTEST GIRL IN THE WHOLE SCHOOL!!!” Ahhhh, good times…

I hit her up. I did get some really bad vibes from her boyfriend (he appears to be an alcoholic, from what I saw today). If she doesn’t respond, it aint the end of the world. I did my part.
So it seems my boss passed away this weekend. He was around my age, a little younger. It comes at a really odd time with COVID going on, and now I appear to be the only other coordinator handling our specific department, minus the student techs. As I’ve only worked there for a month, I hardly know any of the day to operation stuff, and I’d expect the university to open in the Fall.
He was a good guy too, from my month of knowing him. Apparently he died from complications from a seizure, so it wasn’t COVID related, but our building closed for the rest of the week and I’m supposed to quarantine for two weeks. As I said, he died from a seizure, so probably not necessary but they wanted to do it out of caution. I guess they’re going to have some online training for me to do, so fortunately I’ll still be working.

Today I just said “fuck it I’m not doing any work.” Not like anyone really knows or I’ll be punished as long as I finish my end of semester grading.
My students are doing a really weird thing though, if they’ve been sick and whether they know for sure or not they really try to convince me it wasn’t Covid-19. Like they will mention it several times in one email .
