The only time that feels normal to me is like from 1am-3am…I like being up at that time because everything feels the most normal…all the homes in my neighborhood are dark, my gf is usually asleep, I’m usually smoking a bowl and watching whatever TV she doesn’t like.

In other news, another day, another $1. Still going to work, myself. My wife is lucky enough to stay home and work. We’re planning a trip to her Aunt/Uncle’s lakehouse to at least attempt “going out”. But it would just be us there, getting to take a drive with our muts. Letting them enjoy their yard while we chill outside and possibly grill food, hang out and listen to music and such. Just to get out of the house.
Still keeping the social aspect to only us two.
Also, if you’re from NY, stay SAFE AF…man, that’s nuts. I live in TX and we’re lower comparatively but that’s just crazy.

We’re gonna go on furlough. Apparently, the government will pay for all of our checks. I got a date to a wedding I’m supposed to be at in September. Called my landlord and the city about a possible power problem (we may have been hit by a hail storm yesterday, and my best friend’s car may have had a VERY narrow miss by some bigass tree branch). Let out early today. Don’t work until Monday. Legal shit is flying everywhere, meanwhile I’m just showing up and trying to be a good person.

how do the censuses from 2018/17 factor into the infection rate?
In an immediate fashion, the numbers I pulled were pulled from there based off Google. They’re actual numbers, not made up, in that sense. The pop count just gives a % to my quick googling.

Heads up everybody, apparently most US car insurance companies are going to be charging lower premiums or doing refunds because there’s less driving ergo less accidents with the lockdown on. For me, that’s not exactly OB-6 money, but it will pay for some cables.

I called my ex-wife today (we talk regularly), and honest to god, I cried for a second. Talked to my son for a bit about comics and Star Wars in Japanese, told my ex that this town is shit, apologized about where our marriage ended up.
I miss Japan. I miss my son. I fucking hate small town IL, and I hate that we’re going to be put on leave, and the fact that I gotta buy some cheapass computer tomorrow, but that’s life.

IDK about other states, but California requires car insurance by law. Plus, my car got sideswiped by a drunk driver on my street a few weeks, ago, and to my amazement not only was that covered but my rates aren’t going up. I’m sure they would love to blame me, but I was in bed, not the car, so I really couldn’t have anything to do with it. And now my rates go down temporarily? Neat-o.
