Just wanted to let anyone who’s interested know that ‘free weekend’ mode is activated again. No codes or anything required, just download ‘n jam. This is across both BC & Itch.
I’ve got a lot of new Reaktor, Patcher, Bitwig and VFX Script-specific stuff up for grabs, and a shiload of new sample packs. I’m also doing code requests, in case you actually like claimables.
We now return to your regularly-scheduled programming
. Carry on

some 909’s over here, i’m not the OP
Free weekends have rebooted and I’m dropping all of my Patcher / VFX Script / Formula Controller stuff here. Anyone using FL Studio might dig at least a few of these, and I have a couple of ‘helper’ scripts that help newbies get into VFX scripting.
Also, somewhat related is also the Bitwig version, where I drop weird shit involving everything from instrument / FX presets to Poly Grid / FX Grid / Note Grid goodness. Also free and claimable
Also might work on a standalone utility to differentiate between .fls files since they’re a little too uniform. Kind of like a Sorting Hat™
I originally had this posted in the FL Studio thread, but I figured this was a better place to put it:
TL;DR for the Bitmask Gate Cipher
This needs a logic update, but it’s supposed to take an input string and a bitmask, generating unique and interesting patterns from both, which can be used as clocks, drum triggers, or whatever you want in a ‘happy accident’ / cryptic sort of fashion.
It still works and does its job repeatably, but it’s not technically accurate (indexing over the characters by the same position as the mask – oops), so I’m working on an update.
A melodic counterpart to this might also be in the works if I can some up with a cool scheme for it. Maybe two ciphers working together to create unexpected sequences?
First, I might prioritize the little ‘devkit’ idea I teased in the deleted FL Studio thread posts, where I sort of create a neat, windowed-environment inside of Patcher with loads of debug / logging controllers for people who want to get up and running faster with VFX Script. If any of this sounds interesting, your opinion matters, and I hope it’s useful to you!
(Again, everyone here gets free copies of everything they want, just as a reminder. I also just got heavily restocked with Bandcamp codes / power-ups thanks to some generous souls, so there’s plenty more to share, and pretty much zero limits!)
