We’re excited to announce a new opportunity for the IDMforums community
Create a track for an official Glitchpulse Records compilation using a brand-new sample pack designed by our own @KvlT
All submissions will be curated and the best tracks will be officially released to the public on Glitchpulse Records. The final release will drop alongside the sample pack itself, showcasing both our artists and sound designer.
About the Sample Pack

Submit your finished track by sending a private download link to @Manton or via email to admin@glitchpulser.com
Deadline is August 31st
File format should be 24bit 48kHz WAV
Tracks will be curated for consistency and quality. The best submissions will be released on Glitchpulse Records along with the sample pack
Creative Direction and Suggestions
There are no strict genre limitations beyond electronic and somewhat experimental. Whether your sound leans toward deep house glitch techno breakcore ambient drum and bass or IDM you’re encouraged to bring your own style and vision
Here are a few ideas to explore
Texture as narrative
Start with an abstract texture or pad and let it guide the emotional direction of your track
Recontextualization
Chop glitch loops into fragments for new rhythms or transform a bass hit into percussion
Space and silence
Use atmospheric elements to create tension or contrast. Silence can be as powerful as sound
Genre collisions
Blend unexpected styles. Imagine glitch-infused deep house or hardcore techno laced with cinematic noise
Dynamic contrasts
Balance minimal sections with bursts of dense sound to keep the listener engaged
Above all let your track reflect your voice as a producer. The shared pack is there to connect the pieces, but the artistic vision is yours
