Why hello there

Ello people. The name’s Kitnight.
I recently heard of this place and as someone who makes electronic music, I was rather intruiged.
I’ve been composing stuff electronically for about three and a half years and have used a variety of resources.
I make both 8-bit style music and also just kinda basic electronic stuff, not sure what genre it’d be in.
I currently mainly use FL Studio and a mod of Beepbox called Abyssbox.
You can find me as Bitnight! on Youtube if you’re interested.

Welcome! Does that mean you also make chiptune?

Welcome! Glad I’m not the only one around with strange project names, haha.

I believe so. Granted, I’m not really sure the difference between 8-bit and Chiptune is and just kind of use the terms interchangeably.

Haha, yeah!

If I may ask, where might be the place here where I could present my music I have made?

If you’re looking for feedback on WIP’s then the Listening booth.

If you have self-released something then Member Releases is the place for it.

Alright, thank you!

Hello! I recommend the Chipsounds VST by Plogue if you want some good 8-bit sounds. I’m sure other things have been made since I used it last, but I got some good use out of it back in the day.

Man, I’ve been eyeballing chipsynth C64 ever since it came out. Looks like their specific plugs are even better-developed for those specific use cases.
