I have Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones, Monoprice Monolith THX headphone amp, Sony NW-A306 DAP.
It makes a huge difference for sure having the headphone amp. The DAP does old skool amp and vinyl emulation plus includes a very musical EQ which I’m always messing around with.
