Hey all,
I recently discovered Steven Pressfield and his two books (“War of Art” and “Turning Pro”) on creativity and what he calls “Resistance” that creative people face.
Both books resonated A LOT with me. For example, just last summer I worked overtime on my job like a maniac. It didn’t feel bad or too stressful, but later on, I noticed that overworking was a form of procrastination. I was afraid to be creative and I was constantly trying to distract myself with anything else, whether it was playing video games or spending overtime at work.
Anyways, interested to hear your thoughts if you have happened to read either.
