Is that like gabber / speedcore?
Someone who used to post here turned me onto M1DY back in the day (if that counts), but I’d be down to check out what the new wave of this kind of stuff sounds like. Weirdly it was already pretty much weebcore back then (I mean that in a non-derogatory way, it’s kind of a fitting aesthetic for the genre) so I wonder if anything has changed since then
Uptempo Hardcore’s similar to gabber and speedcore in that it’s fast and had distorted kicks, but different in that the sound and parameters to classify it are very thin. Uptempo Hardcore is ALWAYS 190-210 bpm and the kick drums are verrry specific too. Watch:
Basically, imagine a Speedcore kick, but then make it one tone and distort the crap out of it. I suggest you listen to some Equal2 to get you going if you’re interested.
