For about two months the dude was interacting with me quite well, started texting me about what he should do with a couple girls and normal shit like that. Like I said, this dude isn’t a huge concern, I had shit happen earlier this year that was fucking atrocious, I made a drunk rant video about it that I will post up soon, maybe today. Hardest shit I’ve been through but mentally I’m bouncing back.

I brought home some chiggers after a hike and had to take my night job off in order to eradicate all bugs. My legs were bitten to shit last night. I look like I’ve gotten a small case of chicken pox. Been up all night doing five loads of laundry and spraying my house. I do not recommend getting chiggers.

I just got warning points on another forum for posting NSFW artwork when it wasn’t even slightly suspicious. This is the second time I’ve been threated by a ban when I’ve followed the forum rules perfectly okay, and it’s really fucking annoying.

Real people moderating. The fact that other people have posted borderline hentai and got chosen for the community art contests when I’m getting warning points for some innocent little is disgusting. I’d leave on my own accord, but I’ve got too many connections with people there.
Whatever, I’m sure they’ll snap to their senses soon enough. And besides, the points do expire over time. (And if I get more warning points it’s only a week suspension.)

Yeah but bots would also be bad because you could trick the bots by using symbols to hide slurs and noise filters to hide inappropriate stuff. Also bots have a huge problem of ignoring actual rule breaking while banning people for saying “Hi”
Then again they won’t have favoritism or anything. Maybe if the moderators were humans without favoritism it will be better.

Yes, or something very similar. I think the goal of these weird little subcultures is to be as insider as possible, so I wouldn’t be surprised if in a few years it’ll be “My older brother used to listen to vaporwave”-core, or some kind of nostalgic look at something that was already bastardized multiple times. Kind of like recording a VHS tape to another VHS tape over and over again, except the VHS tape is just a bunch of commercials nobody ever wanted to watch in the first place.
I like the spirit of it, I think, but at some point you just end up unintentionally listening to Diana Ross and contemplating the complexities of our current reality, or perhaps just how unoriginal humans really are most of the time
