Seriously surprised at how it turned out in the end. I had to do a few overrides in the pitch department, but this was a hell of a lot of fun
It’s only 4 granulators, if anyone wants the project files + scripts + samples. Thankfully if you followed half of this, you should have all of the resources to skew values and make it your own
**A few hilarious things to note before watching**
Apparently that Python operator thing is just a weird (newer) way to comment
I kept incorrectly using ‘arrays’ instead of lists. Arrays are way more convoluted in Python
FL’s voice features (like filter cutoffs) are really just for internal FL synths, N/A
My explanations in the moment are extremely haphazard, lol
Freeze and bounce that sound by recording it in Edison on the master channel mixer and take the granular sequence and automate the switching between different custom gross beat glitch patterns by right clicking it, while simultaneously chopping up the audio clips to a beat….aphex twin style add other fx or sounds if you want to on top of that…
Lol…
Also the vid is so awesome…so glad you combined my kung fu with your kung fu…to make omega kung fu.
I’m going to have to settle down on streams for a little while probably, but not before hatching this ghostly turd. Sound design fun happens a little later, after the bullshit ghost talk.
Setting this shit up took like 3 hours thanks to cheap gear, driver-hunting, not being able to find any of the right cables at the right time and some really poorly-written libraries, but thankfully everything somehow came together so I could manipulate my ghostbox in real-time.
this reminds me of that time I turned on my OP-1’s FM radio at 33,000 feet on a flight that funnily enough was to Sweden lol. The flight attendants were very curious wtf I was doing XD
