Been working on a new section of my website called the SUBJECT DATABASE.
It’s basically a small visual directory of DJs from the Chilean underground scene. Mostly people from Santiago for now, but I’m adding people from other cities too.
I didn’t really want to make it a conventional DJ directory with bios and a bunch of information. Instead, everyone is catalogued as a “subject” with a photo, location and a link to their SoundCloud.
The whole thing is part of my comic/project MVNDY, so I’m trying to make the database feel like it belongs to that world while still documenting real people from the scene here.
I’ll keep adding more Dj’s in the near future.
curious what you guys think of the idea / presentation and also I invite u to check their work :]
