The lyrics to “I want it that way” don’t make any sense to me, probably due to the fact that Max Martin wasn’t very good at English in the late 90’s.

As I don’t really get into lyrics I can’t really participate in this conversation. But as as an appreciator of philosophy maybe I can give some insight.

Lets wait and see if @RFJ name drops fredagain in the thread :smiley:

I could mention some tracks that sample Alan Watts lectures, but that isn’t lyrics.

I have almost no connection to lyrics in songs, but I’m jealous of people who do. Then again, I also have no idea what most songs are even remotely about, so there’s definitely something wrong with me :smiley:
