It feels so nice to rediscover this forum! My old account was “Johnson Academy” some many years ago on this forum.
Lately, I have sort of rediscovered IDM once I started being honest with myself and creating music only for myself. I really enjoy discussing music and the production of it, but most places seemed to focus purely on EDM or Suno users. Until I remembered this forum!
The musical style I usually lean towards is older UK garage and ambient, sprinkled with some obscure samples if there is any luck. I feel creating every song is an adventure in itself, with ups and downs and (sometimes) a satisfying ending
