MMMM Glitch-O-Lizer

Hey all,

I have been working on a fun little glitch toybox in Unreal Engine. It’s not a plugin but a standalone application for sound mangling (for Win64 only at the moment). You can load audio files, hit record, glitch them up and then use the gliched up recording. I have been using it for messing up stems and processing sound effects for game dev. Send me a PM if you are interested in beta testing it.

Woah, nice to see another Unreal person on here. I’ve been meaning to explore Metasounds a little more. You’ve clearly put it to good use! I might just have to give it a whirl

Metasounds is awesome, I can really recommend it! Lots of fun and possibilities. Currently I’m working mostly on a project in UE 4.27 and it’s really sad to always think “oh I could do that like this with Metasounds” and then go for some workaround with Blueprints and Soundcues…

I have to say though that going crazy with it can get expensive in terms of performance…

Always nice to meet a fellow Unreal person :slight_smile: I got into Unreal mainly from the visuals side of things, and use it to make concert visuals. Here’s a demo of a project I did for years ago, controlling Unreal with Ableton. Currently working on version 1.0 of this AV show :nerd_face: meant to have it done way sooner but life got in the way

Thanks a lot! Yes it’s a bunch of custom blueprints being controlled via OSC from Ableton. A lot of Timelines in BP being triggered by OSC and driving a bunch of different variables in BP and Niagara systems.
