IDMf070 VA - IDMf Retrospective Vol. 4

The IDMf Netlabel and Glitchpulse Records are proud to preset to you the fourth installment of the label's Retrospective series. Released 26th November 2024

Picture

IDMf Retrospective Vol. 4 delves deep into the complexities of the human experience - uncertainty, life, death, transcendence, darkness, grief, family, loss, struggle, and loneliness. It explores self-reflection and the path to acceptance, posing profound questions: Where do we go from here? What does it mean to lead a fulfilled life? How do we embrace both the present and the unknown future?

This album reimagines past IDMf projects, weaving them into a cohesive and resonant narrative. Track titles hint at the themes, but it’s the music that tells the true story. Whether you're hitting the open road or sitting in your favorite chair with headphones on, prepare for an existential journey.

Included are two powerful new tracks by respected IDMf alumni Aaron Goodwyn: “Mother and Son” and “Miles Apart”, heartfelt tributes to his late mother and father.

Track List:
1. Aaron Goodwyn - Mother and Son
2. J Wilson - It Flickers between the Endless
3. Mnemosyne - Strength and Ease
