I figured this would be a cool way to sew up some loose ends and focus on other things unrelated to music for a while, because I’m kind of bored with it these days. This is pretty much just a collection of the BOTA tracks I’ve written over the past year (well, the ones I actually liked), and contrary to the title, no AI was used in the making of any of this.
It’s set to $0, but if it paywalls itself, that means I’ve gotten more downloads than normal. Thanks to my relatively low bandcamp traffic, however, I don’t think that’ll happen.
Any gear used or strictly digital daw. I like the track, a bit too much kick chopping for me(im not much of a break core guy) , but my fav part is the arp and bg melody sounds. There is a sense of contrast, almost like going up the stairs (or falling down hah), theres a beat then silence then beat again, repetitive comp but gives an uneasy feel like a dejavu, which is interesting brain fuq tool imho. “Vigor Effect” is much more to my liking.
These tracks from what i heard were pretty well composed…
I skimmed the tracks…the only reason why i didnt give them a full listen is because i lost my general enthusiasm for music.
Technically these tracks have a complex composition like instead of being intro verse chorus verse chorus outro…
Or what i use intro section 1 breakdown then section 2 then outro…
You successfully switch it up…also the texture of the sounds are aesthetically pleasing… there is some melodic dissonance in one track but the rest of the tracks are good.
Listened to this on my phone…
Also ive been too biased from listening to my own music to give proper feedback…
Id say the beats need some fine tuning…but the melodies and composition are good.
Definitely would say that the rhythm section needs some fine tuning but all of the tracks nearly give me remastered SNES boss fight-y feels, if that makes sense.
High energy, but I swear if I hear one more glitch song without a chopped up amen I will explode… So much lost potential.
