Hi Hi Hello

Hi everyone, Nicolas here. It’s been a while since i’ve been active in music forums (adult life is a bitch) but I found this one a few days ago and I found it pretty interesting and friendly, so here we are .
I make electronic music under the name Alopratos. Mostly breakbeat-inspired music lately, but I also don’t worry much about matching a genre.

I love discovering new things to listen to and that’s the main reason for being here, besides knowing a little more about niche genres and sounds (and probably asking for feedback eventualy).
Looking forward to learn and share with this community!

Welcome…

Dnb or 90s breakbeat like the chemical brothers.

Either way welcome

Thanks!
Maybe more like breakcore (something between “real breakcore“ and “youtube breakcore“ I guess), since I like noisy production combined with beautiful textures. Definitely not very dancefloor-oriented (nothing against it, tho)

The dancefloor can suck a dick! I can’t wait to check out your tunes, and welcome

Thanks
Yeah, I’m usually more the “I want this shit to melt your brain“ type of guy.
But I’m also the “I’m just starting to get good at mixing after releasing like 10 EPs“ type of guy lol

Like that or

Or

If you want to you can do a deep dive in the studio section of this forum. To learn new things. Or ask a question if your stumped on something.

Or feel free to share music recommendations in the music scene chat…

Or you can participate in some community projects…

And we also have an art thread for other art things besides music.

Also there is the listening booth and the what did you create today…that is the proper place to post your music for feedback. Cheers.

Welcome! Always nice to meet more people that like to do terrible things to breakbeats

More like that first one, but a little less dark and shorter (my poor attention span prevents me from making anything longer than three and a half minutes).

I love igorrr but I still have a long way to go to reach that level of detail

Three minutes and 20 seconds is the ideal length of a song, in my opinion. Say what needs to be said and get out lol. Welcome to the forums!

I would take a great 3 minute track than a 10 minute track that feels half baked by the end.
