I put this out today! 6 track EP, all tracks started as hardware jams that ended up getting edited into oblivion in Ableton. Nothing is ever finished, it’s abandoned.

Damn, the whole forum is killing it with music lately. I don’t even like DnB normally, but this is seemingly a bit aggressive, dark, and all of the things I like. This is fantastic, and I love the artwork!
Also, from what I can tell, nothing here sounds abandoned at all. Nothing gets boring or stale either. Great job on this!!
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it. This forum has been super inspiring and supportive of all kinds of creative output.
Disco bombing was the best in my opinion
FINALLY
SOME HARD DANCE IN THA FORUMS
Listened to this on my phone.
And my phone doesnt do the mix any justice.
I like disco bombing and track 4. Those stand out to me.
Some of the other tracks the drum programming sounds a little linear for breakcore it works but it can be improved. In the future i would recommend playing with cross rhythms.
When i sequence breakcore…i like to have one drum element keep time in a 2step dubstep like groove that varies a little bit as the track progresses. And the other drum elements fill in the space with the speedfunk. Sometimes the 2step dubstep groove is present as an accent other times its simply a ghost channel that marks which sequence goes where.
I forgot to mention track 4
It sounds similar to the dnb/breakcore I make, and I love it. Maybe we should collab one day..?
Overall i like it.
Just sharing my thoughts…so that the next time you share your music…it will be more awesomestamazballs.
Thanks man! A collab sounds fun, it’s been a while since I did that
I appreciate the feedback. Phone speakers won’t do it justice, for sure.
I understand your point with This Is Me Thinking. I was in a jazzy drumfunky mood when I was working on that jam, listening to a lot of Equinox and some Venetian Snares. I was thinking about the linearity of the drums while I was playing with it, and the rhythmical relation between the bass and the drums. If anything, it’s the bass that has a grounding function here. There’s a call and response thing happening that’s more noticeable when the acidic sounds come in, which I was hoping would keep the listeners mind focused while the drums fly all over the place.
And the last track is just deranged XD I’m making no excuses for that dickhead. It might be my personal favourite for that reason, but it does not behave at all. It feels like a shitty little brother who you love to have around but want to strangle at the same time
