I use it in everything…
Chopping up transients of a kick drum time stretching and then running each sample through a granular synth both fx treated and non fx treated…
Interesting sounds…

Are you making music again?
I use granular synthesis a little too much, and for some reason, any attempts at a DIY version have been extremely useful – mistakes and all. Kind of a fun routing rabbit hole to jump down, since you can even make them easily in modular environments provided your sampler has a record function.
Doing interesting things with the buffers always yields great results, too. Even changing the length of them on the fly, reversing them, or even running them through individual effects. Honestly, there’s a lot you can do to make your setup interesting if you’re willing to give it a go.
Also, lazy mode for me is Emergence for sure
I do feel ideas for musical experimentation fuckery coming back…
But no im not making music again…i let too many things slip through the cracks…so im gonna be focusing more on life stuff.
If anything ill give trying to recreate vaetxh cuntpressor, mass, unfolding mechanism, and recursion tree…ripoff another shot…but no promises…only if i have nothing to do.
From what i hear in those tracks…is compression, drum synths resampling of drum synths with some glitching in a basic half time beat…
made a thing but i submitted it for a future comp.
