Anyone wanna do a little electronic music Christmas/Kwanzaa/Hanukkah/Diwali/Festivus/Krampus/Holiday project together? Iām starting to feel festive and @idmkid 's post gave me the idea. I would be down to release it myselfā¦ what yāall think?

Hereās some strange images I generated lol for inspirationā¦
I used to have this amazing, uber cheesy DJ mix of only xmas dance tunes, I miss it dearly, it was so fun and dumb. Are we talking remaking classics or making originals?
I dunno, whatever works? just needs to have that festive feel to itā¦? Iāve been messing around with āangels we have heard on highā here and there the past couple hours
Iād love to, but my stupid FUCKING parents would probably stop me and say stupid useless crap about how Iām wasting my time
ugh
Hey, maybe Iāll make a track without releasing it just for the fun of it, Jingle ānā Bells would go hard!
Probably not enough free time to participate but definitely gonna listen to it - Iām sure my boy is gonna like it
I have to confess, the first experiment with electronic music I made with a friendās DAW was a Jingle Bells cover and I even revisited the āconceptā a few years back:
The 3D stuff was done with Flowscape - itās a fun program made in Unity for quickly playing around with 3D environments. IIRC I made the video for one of their Discord contests. I added the dancing snow in Hitfilmā¦
I think the bad recording quality makes it better in this case
have fun and have a great holiday! let me know if anyone comes up with anything. Do/add whatever you want from/to this. The track is just 30 minutes of playing with ideas a Christmas song I like (God rest ye/aka Green Sleeves). BPM is 100
