I know it’s still early, and I need time to fully digest it, but this might by my favorite album by them.

It’s a dark time in the world, but I still feel lucky to be alive during this album’s release. Kinda feels cathartic

Word Becomes Flesh and Father and Son had me nodding with a smile ear to ear lol. Insaaaane sampling and mangling in those two omg, so badass sounding.

Those and Naraka are my favorites so far. The Hindu chant in Naraka is really pretty and catchy, and just fits so nicely with the rest of the beat. Love how it goes from pensive sounding, and even a little menacing to such a pretty melody. The tension and release is really nice on that track

Naraka and Father and Son are the standouts for me after my 5th listen through the album.

But honestly every track is awesome. I intentionally didn’t listen to the intro and Prophecy when they came out because I didn’t want to ruin it. So glad i did. Prophecy is a great track!

I’m still so excited about this release, I’ve been waiting 13 years for it! It’s like an old friend coming to visit with new stories to share. I’ve been listening to it on repeat all weekend. Some standout tracks for me:

Prophecy at 1420 MHz

Father and Son

Naraka

Deep Time

You Retreat in Time and Space

I love to hear what everyone else thinks about it so far.
