For me, a lot of DNB tracks have eally great beats, even if it’s just a nicely chopped Amen, but especially Photek comes to mind, both old and new tracks:

Coming from a European jungle/dnb/hardcore background, discovering the Chicago juke/footwork scene was a real eye opener for me. The sound has been incorporated into the new wave of jungle artists we’re seeing now, which is great, but so much credit of that sound and feel goes to the guys that developed it from the 90s onward. DJ Spinn, Rashad, RP Boo, the whole Teklife roster. It’s pretty fascinating stuff to me.
