Bad bunny

Only recently just heard his songs.

Didn’t understand it…haven’t ran through Google translate yet.

But they are fkn catchy

So if he can make it what’s your excuse.

My excuse I’m not very interpersonal. And my music and its quality isn’t consistent plus I make niche music….

But yeah bad bunny.

I like what he does with the reggaeton vocabulary and how he mixes it with trap and pop. The lyrics, at least this last album, are usually loaded with cultural references that I don’t always fully get, even spanish being my first lenguage.

A lot of what I like about his production has to do with Tainy, his main producer (if I’m not mistaken), who also was part of the old-school reggaeton era. If you are interested in that definitely check out his album “Data”

NGL, I’d much rather just do my own thing than make music that 94M people can groove to. I think I have like 2 fans (if they’re still around, who knows) and they mean the world to me :joy:.

This shit sounds way too normal for me. Where are the goddamn euclidean rhythms? The glitches? And while we’re at it, where’s my hearing aid? I’m clearly too old for this

Our niche music don’t get booties shaking…

Methinks that is the key.

If your goal is to make it big, I would agree with you. Maybe start with some light remixes of BB and see if you can get some of that.

Wait a minute… BB? BB…W? I think I see what’s going on here :joy:

he coo

the superbowl show was good. one of the better ones tbh. i don’t really listen to his music but the nuance and symbolism in the theatrics were effective, at least for me.

i also got chills when he said God Bless All of the Americas and listed all the countries. Definitely a message USA needs right now.

It is not impossible…I guess the takeaway is…it is what it is

“I Like It Like That” by Cardi B featuring Bad Bunny (fuckin love that track) is where I first heard him and realized he was relatively unknown. Instantly I knew he was headed toward the top.
