have only done 4-6 song EPs up until now, so more songs on here than i’m used to. may scrap some, but here’s what i’m working on lately - hope it’s useful to you somehow! have really enjoyed this forum/community so far. have a great weekend everyone
absolutely lovely work, thank you for sharing!
Thank you for sharing @prottto! It’s good to see you around.
I will listen soon
listening to this for the second time now. what beautiful sounds!
this heavily reminds me of ketamine therapy in a good way. this is very cool stuff! almost therapeutic, tonally.
I feel like I’m listening to this from inside a water tank. Very therapeutic, like being in a float tank.
yeah I had @prottto’s soundcloud page up for like the couple of hours starting from when i was chatting with you earlier on discord. the music basically melded into my reality and became a part of it, almost like a piece of furniture in my room or a painting on the wall, but music. a time based object that blended with my reality that i could only be aware of if i thought of it, sort of like breathing. not an easy aesthetic to achieve. great job prottto
I’ll pile on and say I’m really enjoying this. I was a little confused by the mixing and intense midrange at first, but once I settled into the vibe it really grew on me. As @Manton said, it’s very ‘underwater’.
Any chance of a bandcamp/downloadable release? I’d love to have a copy for regular listening.
glad it grew on you! and thanks so much for listening. yes the plan would be to release sometime this year (not yet sure if through a label or independently), but in either case it will be on bandcamp
@glitchpulser ambient release? ![]()
If @prottto wishes to go with us then feel free to drop the album into our boombox for consideration.
@prottto just an idea: Glitchpulse Records
listened to part of this completely on accident, but I do like it. it feels pretty dreamy and calm, but not enough for me to have nothing to say on it. I’ll finish the rest but this is some damn fine stuff.
except for a few you’ve got a pretty solid foundation, and are pretty good on their own. would be interested if some of these got some nice percussion or whatnot in the finished product.
