Did you ever have a dream at night that just seemed to stick with you…even though it was just a dream?
I had a dream one time I walked into this abandoned house as I was in a new city looking for somewhere to stay…in the dream I was already walking into this place and there was no prior decision making. It was some kind of derelict squat house, and and there was junk and graffiti everywhere. You had no idea who would be in there after going inside. I remember the absolute insanity of the place, and it was a very visual dream. I didn’t have any real life experiences being in a squat house.
You’re dreams tend be be from something you’ve experienced in real life, as you say you never lived like a squatter maybe you know one or have lived around some in some way, even a thought of hate against animal cruelty can trigger a cruel animal dream even tho you’ve never done it or seen it.
I totally understand getting the same kinda dreams even years after, I have this weird one where i have a loose tooth and i wobble it and pull the tooth out !! when i was young i bit into and apple for real and a tooth got stuck in the apple lol.
Look up lucid dreaming and what that is all about, you can learn to do it easy enough and wake up in your dreams to do whatever you want, seriously whatever you want …
I’ve had a few that have stuck with me. I actually don’t dream very often now, only maybe a few times a month. And I don’t remember most of them. Used to have a lot more.
There’s one where I’m at a small party, maybe 20-30 people in the middle of a desert. Just barren wasteland with mountains in the distance, somewhere in the southwest US. And there’s just this small little building with a pool outside it that we’re partying around. Over the pool is like a steampunk radio tower. IDK man. It’s fun. When the sun goes down that place gets lit.
I had one where I was on a bus and I keep riding it through different surreal dreams. Giant themepark. Tiny mountain (like the bus drove around the mountain the it was inside the bus’ turning circle) and across plains and deserts. City squashed into the bottom of a canyon - that place was cool as hell I really wanted to get off the bus there. In fact, all these places I’ve described I could have a full dream about just that and not explore the whole place. People get on the bus and we have full on lifechanging relationships and they all get off the bus eventually. Then we’re at like this small fort on the outskirts of some town somewhere and the bus driver turns to me and says “many people ride the bus for a while, but only a true journy-er [yes he used that word] stays until the end of the line” and he and I walk off that bus into the fort. I don’t have any idea what that means but that is a cool one.
There’s a lot where I built different themparks, most interesting had to be the one where I built a thempark around a mountain for God. That was a trip. He was there. Telling me what rides he wanted. Absurd.
I had one where I have this shop down by the coast somewhere. I mean like workshop. I think I also lived there. I remember being there as the sun was rising and it’s near a marsh so I can see the mist coming off the water as the sun rises. In the shop I’m working on my mom’s truck. But I think I also worked on electronics or something because there was a bunch of that stuff around too. The shop is a large metal building with windows only 15-20 feet high up on the walls. Every time I go inside it turns to night and every time I come out the sun comes up. No one else is around. There’s a road that goes by, but there aren’t even any cars on it. No boats. No buildings in the distance. Nothing. Just me and that shop.
