Well, both - really. I don’t have a need for new chord progressions. I’ve got a samplepack that’s chock filled with all of these really cool progressions and single chords and stuff. Here’s a link, actually - and I’ll pop it in the “free shit” section of the forums. Something like 10,000 midi files?
And it’s on github too!!! If only more people uploaded samplepacks on github…
Oh yeah, because it’s actually super easy to pull data from a .txt file for a lot of programs. Imagine the in-program settings locked you out or something, and you had to decompile a shit ton of code to change a wee value…
