Ok so AI is officially here…and can generate entire songs.
So whats the point…in making music
How about we remix the AI generated songs however we want….
Or if we need some stems like vocals we can use AI…for those that don’t have a network of musician friends or are too shy to broadcast our music to our social networks lol… or whatever…
Idea is that AI makes a musical Lego airplane….but we use those Legos as parts for our whateverthefucktchamacallit thing that we make…that is the musical equivalent of anything but an Lego airplane…
I’m thinking it’s a qawm but a little longer because the end of year holidays are coming up and some of us have lives…
So I’m thinking by mid January or end of January..would be the deadline for the AI EP remixes…

Finished tracks we will do a collaboration album/playlist on YouTube. So upload the tracks to your YouTube…and I’ll create a public YouTube playlist.
You can use the suno AI app…or whatever free AI music generation app…as a source for tracks to remix.
It might be interesting if some musicians will remix one AI track, so there would be an AI original version and real musicians remix. “suno, create IDM track with a lot of dumsdums badaboom ts”
Is there a service that actually sounds great yet, though? I’d love to generate a pack or something ridiculous just so I can do some kind of hybrid outside of my comfort zone (AI being way outside of my comfort zone as it is) and maybe pump out a track that I actually like with it.
Or, perhaps using AI stem extraction on random, obscure YouTube videos or some shit; I’ve always wanted to remove the main content and use the background fuzz for something special . As mentioned in the other thread, it might even be fun to pull stems out of shittily AI-generated sludge with AI tools in order to build up a pack. Live and FL both seem to be up for the task, and FL even has that chord generator thing. With all of the aforementioned (and more), there are likely a lot of fun possibilities to explore outside of just generating shit with a prompt.

Me personally I’m gonna use the suno AI app to generate an Acapella female vocals track…and remix it with my previous qawm where I combined breakcore and dubstep.
And I’m gonna make a complextro song and an edm song out of my nonsequitur absurdist philosophical shit post rants I posted on idmf…
And I’m gonna remix ai Acapella rap and an instrumental AI dubstep track together.
The details are a little loose. But sounds interesting.
I’m staunchly anti AI (relating to music and art creation) so I would take part just to feel like I’m extracting some sort of revenge and destruction on its abomination!
If someone sends me a Suno (or whatever AI slop platform suits) track to remix. Otherwise I’m not logging into that shit show

Couldn’t get isolated vocals from the app but it might still be workable…
Because creativity…in the remix.
Protip if you don’t want to download …you can also record your soundcard driver on your laptop computer to rip the audio as it plays…and save it as whatever audio file to remix however you peeps want.
The process is like the digital version of tape recording audio. Can do this with audacity…and possible daws…not sure how to do it on daws though…YouTube Google it.
I’m not gonna do a Bandcamp…but if you wanna create your own…or just make a yt playlist…depending on how many derivatives you make if you decide to make an ep…
