EdFokks is a Sydney based composer and musician. This album oozes finesse and quality particularly on “Windswept” and “Diamonds in the Rough”. Ed uses beautiful harmony and broken jazz chords on the guitar to create rhythmic sophistication, a unique sound and texture in his playing.

Ed sent in some demos about 3 years ago when I took over IDMf. I could see the potential and invested heavily in getting remixes organised for the EP, eventually turning it into this album. @Jazzyspoon (I’m gunna start calling you ol’ reliable at this point) rose to the challenge. I threw in my keys too and Daed, well I phoned him in last minute. @BioTainted had a great start to his remix but it was never finished. I would love to hear it complete one day.

Ed, putting this one out has been an epic long journey and I’m so pleased to see it come to light. Congratulations!

Even if I wasn’t featured on this release, I would still really like it. EdFokks music really speaks to me. I get a real ‘When Elephants Dream of Music’ vibe from his original tracks and they feel really authentic. Nicely done. Love that you roped in Daed for this, Nick.

Even if @Jazzyspoon wasn’t featured on this release, i’d still really like it too.

This shit is a mindfuck. not because it’s groundbreaking music cuz what does that even mean anyway?.. but it’s genuine and feels full of life, and it fills my soul up. i’m regretting not getting my remix done in time but don’t think it’d work anyway, no worries. is what is. this release is a very interesting angle from @glitchpulser, not expected, but that’s what i like about GPR, nick :manton: keeps us on our toes. like Ol’ Reliable mentioned, this is very authentic music. I’m not sure if EdFokks is a member here but this is great stuff.
