FX left Dry right Not possible? WTF!

I thought I could have channel 1 on my mixer with FX and Channel 2 dry and pan left and right at the Master output to my DAW.

But the internal FX of my Behringer mixer always affect both left and right channels…

Seems wrong :man_shrugging:

Doesnt sound right at all- after all channel 1 would be 1 instrument and 2nd another - is there not an FX mix or on/off - which model do you have?

I have a Behringer 1240 FX -Pro, a hand-me-down that I’ve had for a few years and dabbled with now and then… never used the FX much but got interested in that module recently.

Today I discovered a sticky button… made troubleshooting maddening until I found it. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Beginning to suspect there’s a short. :zap:

On board FX from any channel goes to left and right in the main mix no matter what I try…

I can get a dry signal on left or right or mix… but FX is MONO both sides even when panned 100%
