Just finished a new track called Walking a Tightrope, inspired by that fragile state between fear and focus. When you’re not sure if you’re about to fall or finally take flight.
It’s a blend of ambient textures, broken rhythms and subtle tension, with a 3/4 pulse to mimic the rhythm of slow, careful steps. I tried to keep things minimal but emotionally dense like being halfway across, with no way back.
Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or even how it makes you feel.
Hey Robin,
Thanks so much for your kind words! It really means a lot
Burial is a huge reference point for me in terms of mood and texture, so hearing that it reminded you of his work is a big compliment.
Glad the atmosphere and mix landed well for you. I was aiming for that balance between tension and fragility.
If you have any suggestions or felt anything specific during the listen, I’d love to hear more!
