The whole trump thing doesnt even matter now. I can't even believe that what i saw in that video is something people want to hear. That is pretty much the worst aural disaster I've ever been witness to. And yet, the guy is making way more money than i am. I must try too hard. Maybe I should just get blunted and write doap phat rymez and pay 50 bucks for a beat with nintendo samples on it.
Cocaine still produces tho. Sounds not so bad, his flow is good too but the lyrics are whack as hell. If he's rapping on his tracks he should definitely stop, finish some additional grades or get a dictionary to learn some new vocab. I'd sure invite a guy like him to spit on my album, got a decent track or two for flow like that but guess all that GANGSTA-SWAG shit won't fit a XVII c.-styled theme.
^Yeah, 17th century. Big fan of that historical period and warfare around that time. To make a long story short, the album I'm working tells a story settled about that time and incorporates some traditional instruments manipulated from records or recreated by friends who help me on it to get a sort of a vibe of that time, while this work should remain a heap of modern folk/electronic music mashup. Not going to be anything big, I'm a shitty musician but it's a concept I like.
Why the Cocaineaudio reference here? Imagine, I'm a white European male and the period of aristocracy in the XVII-XVIII wasn't the best for afroamericans, so lyrics about bitches and a lot of "n-words" in between wouldn't really match the concept, right? But I like his flow, he knows what he's doing and a flow like this fits some of the beats on my album but his stuff is just not my taste of rap. I try to grasp some interesting lyrics from rappers top-tier and amateur as well, there are a few I keep an eye on, others wouldn't be interested.
It's not all about rap, I'd put 2-3 tracks with rap at maximum. Rest is some folksy ambient and electronic stuff with instrumental hip-hop beats infulences, but not the typical boom-bap stuff, more of that glitchy, electronic beats.
Edit: Stop rapping when refered to Cocaineaudio was a bit harsh and to be taken with a pinch of salt via the long-lived maxima "to each their own". To me he can rap about violent rape and I wouldn't give a shit. Just all that "swag-money" stuff he's spittin' about isn't my cup of tea.
