Zoviet France, the thread

OK so I see that there is no thread about this great duo from Newcastle. I found one post while searching, but no thread. I feel this should be the great and only Zoviet France thread then.

The real reason why I wanted the attention of other people was that I was looking to buy Zoviet France (ZF) material. But I could only find it on Amazon and I have never purchased from there before. I purchased mostly from iTunes. Considering that ZF is known for their beautiful album covers I don't even exclude physical releases... but digital releases would be the most practical for me right now.

I wonder if anyone here knows where to buy good versions of ZF albums??

While posting I also want to hear if anyone knows why they call themselves "Zoviet France". I remember reading an interview where the question was raised, but I don't think there was such a thing as an answer to the question in the interview.

Anyone else out there who listens to Zoviet France?

For physical releases you can try Discogs
[Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]

I had a quick look and found some of their stuff at the link above, Discogs can be a pain though as you buy directly from the owner.

They've never been on my music radar, so not much to add from me.

Re: Zoviet France, the thread

Discogs is one of my favorite sites for information but I never bought anything there.

One thing that is really odd is that iTunes doesn't have anything From Zoviet France. Is this the same for other users? I wonder.
