Studio Monitor Review !

YO! checking out some speakers and was wondering if any1 has feedback for the Genelec MO40 's ? ? ? Any knowledge, review critiques would be greatly appreciated !

No adam, hedd, dynaudio, focal, genelec, Neumann,..? Those brands blow all the ones on your list away.

The M040 has a downward facing bass port which is useful in smaller and medium rooms. You’ll get excellent active crossovers and room response compensation.

But I find that the midrange is extremely forward, and high-frequency elements that should actually be further back stand out too much. The bass is undefined and spongy for my liking. Maybe you can learn them and over time master the sound.

However, a good alternative would be the neumann kh120a.
