[ambient/abstract] sm - path two

so paths basically are unnamed formless pieces with this idea that they lead somewhere. This one is more ambient one. It has extra bits after that 3 minute mark which I didn't include because it all sucks at its current stage but imagine it builds to something that is quite heavy.

Its a bit someone-rattling-around-in-a-spaceship-cupboard-looking-for-something. But despite my crappy line there, this is pretty evocative. Good work

As I said for part one, your glitch-skills are awesome, everything is in its right place, nothing reminds the listener to cheap and lazy DBlue/Illformed Glitch/Glitch2 stuttering effects, and that's the most important thing; I loved even those background pads, they let me think about not so creepy places, perhaps something that will happen, somewhere where there were only pads (peace) and then came the glitch (not-peace). It has an atmosphere of its own. Formally abstract, but likely material.

damn too accurate. It might be a space mouse running around in air vents while accidentally tripping on wires. You just gave me a really cool idea... What if you're that space mouse? Dis gon b g00d.

I'm not familiar with these plugins you mentioned but I've just checked Glitch2 and it looks very on-grid and sequencer-based multi-effect unit, not very interesting to me but others definitely can find something cool in those. Thanks for listening.

I said it's not good in my opinion using that kind of effects. They're cold, lifeless... but others, strangely, could find them alive.

This is definitely what I thought it would evolve into, even if there is a heavier part that could potentially come in afterward. I'm excited to hear a climax of sorts, but as it is I could see this being a proper part of an album or something because it stays interesting the entire time. It's definitely a 'path' just like the first one, and both are ridiculously (in a positive way) designed.

I'd personally listen to an EP, album or whatever of 'paths' even if they never really went anywhere.
