Looking for USB soundcard with 6,3mm jack

Hi,

I'm looking for a USB or express-gate soundcard pref with a 6,3mm (1/4 inch) jack.
I've been to a store and they suggested me a 525eur (+-600$) one, but that's currently
too costly for me.

Anyone any suggestions?

Ask me if you need other hardware info.

Don't shoot me if I'm wrong, but I think the Yamaha Audiogram 3 has that sort of input. My girlfriend bought me the unit for christmas, and I have dug it ever, ever since. It's very acceptably priced as well. Really good piece of gear in my opinion - I've recorded both guitar audio and from a microphone with great results into Live for processing.

Re: Looking for USB soundcard with 6,3mm jack

After searching up some reviews I'm a little in doubt about the Yamaha. I've looked up some Audio Interfaces around the 75 - 125 $ range and I feel like unless I want to spend the double of that amount, I will get some poor results.

E-MU 0204 seems very interesting.

Re: Looking for USB soundcard with 6,3mm jack

I've used the E-Mu 0202 and its very good for what it does. The 0202 is end-of-line and my understanding is that the 0204 is the newer version of it, so it probably is pretty good value for money.

My only bugbear is that Creative are not gnerally brilliant at updating non-gamer related drivers. This may not be much of an issue for you
