Re: Country Clubs, TV Shows (Bring Da Funk Back) (HIP HOP)

The production is really quirky somehow (maybe smashed, or very wide across all bands?) but I like that about it. The transients in the drums are often lost, but I like that about it too, because it sounds so original & the vocals carry the song very well (along with those guitar(?) stabs).

The vocalist really has a weak flow (personal opinion) but again, in the context of the song everything gels nicely. Whatever you do, keep doing it. This reminds me of Hesher for some reason and I couldn't tell you why. Thanks for sharing this, I've listened like 4 times now.

Re: Country Clubs, TV Shows (Bring Da Funk Back) (HIP HOP)

Thanks Kvlt.

It is a quirky joint, the MC is kind of experimenting with a new stye at the moment, he also rushed it a bit, in fact the whole song lyrics and production was all put together in one day. maybe it would have come out better with a little more time, or maybe it would have lost that energy it has?

Perhaps you'd like to check out some more of my Instrumental work? which can be found here. . . [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click here to register]

Oh yeah, this is the Instrumental version, thought you might like to hear the track without the MC.
