Dude...if you have not mastered and maxed out Komplete 9 there is no way another soft synth is going to add anything to your setup. You are just going to get lost in too many options.
This response = one man's opinion.
BTW, I have Image Line Harmor and it's kinda craptastic IMO. I have played with it on and off and was never really that stoked about it. The whole "resampling" thing it does is pretty shitwonderful as well ;p
(btw, IMHO, your user name is offensive, just sayin' dude...)

Relic speaks wisdom worth taking note of..another tool in the box might not be what you really need right now..that is, if you haven't fully explored what you already have.
If, on the other hand, you have played everything out to the max, then which one you go for would really depend on what kind of sound you want, as each tend to have their own signature sound engine, which effects the genre of music they will fit best.
Also, have to agree with Relic regarding your ID..the same thought crossed my mind when I saw it. Don't mean that in any sort of nasty way or hating on ya..just saying it struck me it might offend some people on here is all. You could always ask admin to change it for you, if you feel like doing so..not saying that you should or anything..that's up to you, obviously.
Without you telling us what you'd like in a synth or what you think is missing from your current arsenal - the best we can do it list our favorite softsynth - in which case there's plenty threads like that already.
Thread salvage. What hardware synths have ya'll thought about acquiring. I've been eyeing the Alesis Micron, Novation Ultranova, Ensoniq's ESQ-1, and a few others. Anyone got experience with any of these guys? I really need another hardware synth and full size keys are kind of a selling point. I need some sort of performance keyboard but being synth nut I want some programmability. Ideas?
If you already have Komplete Ultimate, that means you have Reaktor. Before buying another synth, checkout NI's online user library. It contains thousands of effects and pre-made ensembles (Reaktor-based synths and effects). There are also user submitted sounds and patches for Absynth, Kontakt, Guitar Rig, etc.
I was already thinking tone2 gladiator and u-he zebra and image line harmor.. Hmm what you's think?
Do yourself a favour and get harmor! Zebra is great too but Harmor is something else because the possibilities are truly endless. Its my favourite synth which I use in about 80% of my sound design. The resynthesis feature really just sets it apart from everything else.
